Indian Medical Association, shortly and sweetly called IMA, is the largest Association of practitioners of modern medicines.

Indian Medical Association is a body responsible for and dedicated to integration of doctors irrespective of their fields of technical interest. But, unfortunately, a large number of doctors even today are ignorant of this august body of IMA.

Primarily an attempt has been made to focus elaborately various aspects of IMA with special reference to Orissa chapter. In order to make those increasingly popular amongst its members so that they can propagate it to other fellow doctors for making synapse with IMA.

 In the present situation, to carry out different activities for development of doctors as well as to fight for their basic needs and legitimate problems, individual’s endeavor will not be sufficient. At times this type of individualistic attitude will end up in seer humiliation to ignite discontentment. Hence it needs association to adher firmly for all situations to come.
